Invited talk at NSBRI seminar in Houston
From February 12th to February 13th, Prof. Juhler participated in the National Space Biomedical Research Institute (NSBRI) seminar in Houston, TX, USA.
Prof. Juhler was one of twelve leading brain scientists invited to this expert symposium on the visual impairment syndrome seen in astronauts returning from missions in space.
Her talk focused on our group’s work on the effect of postural changes on intracranial pressure, our experiences with invasive telemetric ICP monitoring, and the possible use case scenarios at NASA.
This is an avenue of research that our group continues to explore.
