Presentations at the 2015 hydrocephalus conference in Banff
The Copenhagen CSF Study Group presented multiple research projects at the ISHCSF Hydrocephalus 2016 conference in Banff, Canada.
The seventh meeting of the International Society for Hydrocephalus and CSF disorders (ISHCSF) took place in Banff, Canada from the 19th to the 21th of September. The Copenhagen CSF Study Group was well represented with 4 delegates.
Medical student Sarah Pedersen gave an oral presentation on intracranial pressure differences between children and adults and the relationship to age and night vs. day. She also presented a poster on the influence of neck flexion on intracranial pressure.
Medical student Trine Andreasen presented a poster on the relationship between patient height and intracranial pressure, relating to Sarah’s oral presentation.
Medical student Philip Månsson presented his poster “40 years of shunt surgery at Rigshospitalet, Denmark” concerning shunt revisions at our clinic, and won second place for best poster in the Young Investigator Award session.
Prof. Marianne Juhler chaired two poster sessions, the oral session on Experimental Hydrocephalus with Prof. McAllister, and participated in Board meetings as a board member.
